About Us
Back in 1984, Dr. Mike Shell founded Shell Chiropractic. Years later, he was searching for the right people to join his associate program. Dr. GG Grant and Dr. Brent Bryant became a part of our team in 2005. When Dr. Shell decided to retire, Dr. Grant and Dr. Bryant were the perfect people to carry on his legacy of natural health care. Since that time, our practice has continued to grow and serve the people in Monroe with quality chiropractic.

Sharing in Your Success
One of our patients was a woman who went to another chiropractor for neck pain, arm pain and weakness in the hand. This chiropractor told her she’d get better, guaranteed. Unfortunately, the woman didn’t see any results. A friend told her to let Dr. Grant see her. Honest from the start, Dr. Grant said he couldn’t guarantee anything but wanted to try. Each week, she continued to progress until her problem resolved.
Others have had migraine headaches and were on medications or getting injections. Rather than face the side effects of these options any longer, they discovered our office and got the results they wanted.
The Surprising Effects of Chiropractic
Often, our patients are surprised at what chiropractic can do, going far beyond neck and back pain. A 19-year-old college student came to Dr. Grant with back pain and responded well to care. One day, she asked him, “Are you doing anything related to my heart?” Dr. Grant explained that the nerves in her lower spine controlled her heart, and that was an area he had been working on.
The patient said she was born with a heart arrhythmia and had gone in for regular checkups every six months to keep it under control. At her last checkup, the arrhythmia was gone. Dr. Grant told her, “The power that made the body heals the body. You’re doing the work; I just addressed an area of spinal misalignment.”
